How to study Science Subject?

SERIES 1 - BEGINNING OF SCIENCE SUBJECT OF EVERY STUDENT'S LIFE.

The term science comes from the Latin word Scientia, meaning “knowledge”.

In this series, we will study various aspects of science as a subject.

Science is valued by society because the application of its knowledge helps to satisfy many basic human needs, for example, various terms regarding health science and medicines or anything which we purchase from the market. In short, In day to day life science plays a very important role.

           

Let's start the journey of science as a subject from our school days, it will help you to understand the science.

According to the curriculum, we come across various branches and new terminologies related to science, sometimes students only read science books and it looks too lengthy and boring because there were many reasons behind it, of course, some of the students are exceptions also but here, I am trying to solve many questions and queries of those students who have "fear" about science subject or they think "it is difficult"..!

I have mentioned some points which may be related to them.

• While studying you do not look upon concepts.
• Only studying exam point of view which means at the time of the exam, students direct take ques and answers i.e only reading portion(i.e Rattafication).
• Every time you did not relate the concepts in day to day life this may the reason to student thinks it is difficult than mathematics or other subjects.
• Understanding scientific language may be the reason.
• Student mostly ignores diagrams given in the syllabus as they did not practice it or understand it.
• Daily Homework only writing portion of all subject... this is the daily routine, so the time slots for every subject is not set..!

Focus and concentration that two new words are always striking in every student life while riding the race of exam.

Student tries hard to learn paragraphs given in chapter... 10 times or many times only revise 1 sentence but the next day at the time of exam did not even start the answer..!

The above list will not stops because every student has different "Vigyan Story" I believe!

Here I have made a list to solve few of Vigyan stories you may experience. I will try to solve it one by one.

1. Understand the Concepts.
2. Science is theoretical as well as practical subject, the key is to understand it practically.
3. Concepts are always stuck in the mind so at the time of exam you will find interest while studying science.
4. Relate concepts in day to day life, start finding and searching the innovation and discoveries of science in the various field, for example, u like robots, cars, animated cartoons search how it works, who made it????? and so on...! which may develop an interest...!
5. Scientific language and terminologies are mostly derived from Greek and Latin word, it is difficult to understand so write down the meaning of those words and keep it in mind in easy form using tricks.
6. Diagrams play a very important role in understanding the topic, learn it thoroughly.
7. Time slots also important to study any subject, because every subject is important.

Confidence and enthusiasm is also the key to learn every subject, last but not the least start studying with your favourite topic given in the syllabus, you will get confidence after completing it ... then start difficult one!
